It's amazing how the KLCI indexes can be a very effective mood influencer.
Wednesday, when the KLCI closes at 870.10 - drop of 14.24 pts, we can see changes in people's mood. In fact, it was reported as the sharpest fall in 12 months.
scary for some especially when the stocks invested in are limit-down.
(eg. of some limit down stocks ... gula perak, I-power, HPI resources, Kuantan flour mills, golden plus, foremost holdings, seal inc, fountain view, prime utilities, pilecon engineering, mexter technology, malaysia packaging, lii hen, mahajaya, karensoft, dai hwa, suremax group, fajar bumi capital, sanbumi )
some can't sleep, some loss their appetite, some got angry and easily irritated for no reason,
some thinking how to get out of this break-even, some just want to cut losses
but they are people who think they are good opportunities out there.
come what may, we still need to carry on with life
cause like the saying goes
"what doesn't kill us will make us stronger"

I'm more careful with strangers nowadays .... thanks to advice from friends & past experiences
However, today during lunch ... I think I was a bit 'too careful' ...
I was walking towards Mydin Sinar Kota, was walking quite fast as rushing for time,
when an old lady carrying a huge plastin nylon bag came rushing towards me.
Left hand carrying the nylon bag, she used her right hand to wave (signalling me to stop).
Me did stopped on reflects.
old lady : siao jie, siao jie ... dang ha dang ha (ms. ... wait a while)
The funny thing is that while she's talking, she tried to catch hold of my hand woh.
on reflects again, I moved my hand away ... to avoid.
on seeing this
old lady : siao jie ... lei mo gang, ngor mm hai wai yan. ngor shui yui lei bong mong jieh. mun ha lei yeh jieh (ms. don't be afraid, I'm not bad people. I just need your help. Ask you something only) she assured me.
Looking at her was all I managed to do. She looked back.
old lady : ho yi tong ngor gong, heung bin do dap che fan Sentul mo? (can tell me where to take bus back to Sentul)
me : aunty ah, ngor mm zhi do woh (aunty, I don't know woh) ... I really don't know
old lady : lei mo geng ngor, ngor mm hai ngak yan wai yan (please don't be afraid of me, I'm no cheater). KL bus cham heung bin do? (where's KL bus station)
me : KL bus cham yao gei goh. yi do, goh do, goh do yao (pointing to all the bus station directions) lei dap meh che? gei doh hou ga? ( what bus do you take? what number? )
old lady : No. 2
me : which type of bus ah? red colour? white colour or like that (pointing to metro bus)
old lady : I think is like this bus (pointing to metro bus) aiya..how to go back leh?
me really don't know where to take bus to Sentul, also don't know what bus & what number.
but me think me can't leave the po-po there like that
so I tried to 2 malay girls that pass-by ... but they don't know also
however, we were fortunate as I saw a metro bus driver coming down of the bus
I went and asked ... selamba only
the driver gave direction to old lady, I translated ... just in case she missed something.
Even before she left, she kept on assuring me that she doesn't mean to 'scare' me nor is she a 'cheater'
Haha ... in retrospect, perhaps it was my 'over-reaction' of pulling my hand away when she try to grab it that made her assured me non-stop that she meant no harm.
perhaps the old po-po was quite lost and needed some 'assurance' gua or scare me run away don't want help her.
When me think back what happened, I couldn't help smiling to myself. me looked a bit silly =D

New pastime
Lately, I discovered a new pastime ..
CAR WASHING ... ( of course not when the sun is directly above the head)
haha ... hope I didn't contribute to the low water level at the water dam or reservoir
like CAR WASHING because :
- can clean & care for the car ... that has ferried me to many places
- there are plenty of water & foam to play with
- can help to burn lots of calories
- like washing away 'unhappy things'
someday, if me were to organise a charity car wash or take part in one,
anyone? interested to lend a helping hand or at least offer your car to be washed?
Now, I wonder how's it like BUS WASHING? =)

curse the driver
Last friday morning, it was raining very heavily
while walking on the pavement heading towards office
a car speed past and splash a pool of water onto the pedestrian.
(note that other cars were considerate enough to slow down when they know that place contained water)
the malay lady in baju kurung in front of me was drenched in dirty water from roadside.
she even shouted "Tak de otak punya driver"
then another chinese lady added in cantonese "gon zhi hoi tao toi meh" literally translated "rushing to reincarnate?"
Well, what else can I say??
It's not nice to get drenched in dirty roadside water early in the morning.
So me, I'll remember to slow down =)

high heels shoes
The other day, I was complaining to my collegues
Me : Nowadays the high heels shoes quality no good lah. wear 2 to 3 times already koyak. some more about 30 bucks. (was refering to the only pair of high heel shoes brought with foong ling)
Collegue 1 : You sure it's the shoes no good?
Me : Yalor, me wear 2 - 3 times only mah. Now already out of shape liao.
Collegue 2 : I think ah ... it's you lah. Either you don't know how to wear high heel or you walk very "chou lou". People all wear ok ah .. can last quite long, only your shoes become like that... haha...
Me : hai loh, may be loh, then must teach me how to walk with high heels liao. ok la, I must admit I really don't know how to wear high heel & walk especially when I'm rushing for time.
Collegue 2 : aiya, if so susah, then don't wear high heel lah
Me : yalo ... but sometimes have to mah. wear too long, leg muscle pain.
Collegue 1 : yalah, ladies like that one ... "oi leng mm oi meng" translated "want beauty don't want life"
me think wear high heels shoes need some skills (especially stiletto heels) & me must admit haven't mastered those skills yet.
so meanwhile, unless necessary, I still prefer confortable level shoes.
