'I want mcdonald'
got a call this afternoon on handphone - registered 3.39pm
me : helo
small boy : (half shouting in mandarin) ma, wo yao chi
mcdonald..deng xia nie hui lai de shi hou, mai gei
wo men chi. mei mei ye yao
small girl : ma, wo yao na ge na ge...
small boy : na lai la, wo gen mama jiang
ma..
me : wei, nie jiao shen me ming zi
small boy : chen jian ..... (didn't manage to catch the last word)
me : mama ne? zai na li, jiao shen me ming?
small boy : ni bu shi mama meh? mama jiao...err..
me : ni da chuo dian hua le o, wo bu shi mama o
small boy : dan shi wo shi an mama de hao ma ah, ke yi jiao mama lai ting ma?
me : mama, shen me ming zi? ( thinking maybe my friend's children)
small boy : mama bu zai ah? ni gen mama shuo mai mcdonald gei wo la
before i manage to speak, he put down the phone already. tried calling the number back, no answer...went into voice mail.
wondering what will the small boy's reaction be if mama comes back empty handed? will he throw a tantrum? will his mama think he's lying if he says he did informed her in the afternoon? or will they be going to mcdonald for dinner? =)

CONGRATULATIONS !!!
The time of the year is here again .... red bombshells...bombshells...and more bombshells...
last time used to attend wedding dinners of relatives / parents' friends...
however, this year seems to be more special wo ...
all 3 also from my group of friends...
and all 3 also on 20something of september
1 in JB, 2 in KL
and this seems to reflect something about me, perhaps about you, perhaps us..
will leave this open to you =)
ps. better start saving now o ... who knows there's more to come =P

white balls...
i was all alone. actually started panicking oredi but lucky i found that little little bit of courage i have. 'if i can swim out sure can swim back wan'
in fact, there's no other options but to swim back.
floating white balls... impromptu...swam towards it, caught hold of one...hug it to stay afloat =)
saw vee voon, wa so relieved & thankful...=)
in short, managed to swim back to shore with almost all energy zapped. thinking of eating to replenish only ; )

nvm the burning sand, scalding sunlight...we played volley ball game...a special kind...we only 'serve' & 'collect' ball =P
in fact, there's no other options but to swim back.

first time...
getting off the speed boat, overwhelmed by the beauty of long beach
we were greeted by orange juice and short briefing
next swimming session, collected snorkelling gears, life jackets & flippers
nvm it's abt 12pm, after slapping layers and layers of sun block, ran towards the sea. very relaxing o after long bus journey =)
wa..during then only me realised that our friends are really excellent swimmers. while i was still learning to breath thru mouth using that snorkelling google, our friends had swam about 400m - 600m away.
haha...then my ego kicked in lo...how can me just stay near the beach leh =P
decided to venture out ...nothing venture, nothing gained ma
saw addy, ajak him swim to the boat..however after starting, being short sighted, me can't seem to locate addy.
continued swimming towards the rocks where i saw our friends earlier on...alas, when i reached, there was no one in sight.
that time really tired liao...no stamina...see see wa..very far from the beach o, dunno enough energy to swim back or not.
some more me very short, can't touch the ground and rest

guitar
'guitar as birthday present'
my youngest sis wish for her birthday lo.
not only that, she had even surveyed the models, prices, where to purchase...
one of the best research she had done
after all these, finally i gave in. It was her birthday and for a research well done.
Happy Birthday to u !!! Love u !!! =)
ps. and now she starts talking about composing. her enthusiasm ... i admire. she has only got some basic background on guitar =)

take the rest you need and bounce back rejuvenated to capture better opportunities
to be honest, there's envy feeling lo =P
something you said yesterday really makes me think ...
true also ... if possible, we all doesn't want to work, all would resign,
however, some of us have to struggle through, no matter how hard because we have commitments with a capital C
so, do we work to live or live to work ya? =) or both or not both? =)

own bake ah? no la...haha me no pandai baking la
doing some distribution (selling also lo)

getting excited
9/7
I was physically present at office but my mind was mapping its journey to perhentian liao =P all these while doing countdown to 5pm.
It was a long long bus journey, some of us have difficulties sleeping, some of us slept like logs. Arrived at bus terminal abt 4am, being a gentleman as he always is, our friend Addy didn't want to wake our 'chaffeur'.
upon arrival at guest home near jetty, we decided to go for a walk at beach.
walking on the beach early in the morning is refreshing. our photographers - vince,addy,guo shyng was all ready to capture sun rise.
nasi lemak for breakfast..yummy =)
the speed boat ride
(aiyak..don't know whether it's speed boat or motor boat or are they refering to the same boat??)
betul betul syok o...
nvm the bumpy rides each time we go against the wave
it was like 'flying without wings'
surrounded by blue blue sea ... I see us floating in pepsi blue =P

Nope..perhentian did not make me a procrastinator.
In fact, I vowed not to procrastinate anymore once I'm back from perhentian.
yet only now I'm updating my blog...real failure la me
being there at the beautiful BUBU long beach, pulau perhentian kecil with beautiful people is indeed a very beautiful experience.
It's hard not to be happy when you are there, you know (well, for me at least)

pasar malam
Saturday...my favourite day
not only sometimes don't have to work, the day after it also don't have to work
but the best part is the duration between 5pm till about 11pm .... PASAR MALAM
Every week without fail, i'll be there ... no la...not 'bai dong'(in chinese language means buka gerai). Go there to spend money willingly instead of making money.
usually will leave home abt 9pm++ and come back 10pm++ or until pasar malam traders start packing. why so late r? i think must be due to this misconception i have that
pasar malam must go malam after the sky turn dark =P
i just love it. from the varieties of products till the varieties of people and the way pasar malam keeps getting longer and longer.
now my place pasar malam even offer ringtone download services, in fact started end of last year ... such a brilliant idea ... salute these youngsters with entrepeunership.
next post...will try to compile where do we have pasar malam on each day of the week.

me kiasu?? oh yes..
what prompted me to start this blog?? haha kiasu-ism lo
initially received an e-mail from keef ...wow, she has got her own blog!
THEN got another e-mail, this time from jo n, wow, she has got one too!
wa!! if she has, she has and she has ya...i want one too.
without hesitation, i created THIS ... very impulsive action ho
