KL Library ... the coolest place to be in town

Perpustakaan Kuala Lumpur @ KL Library is situated right next to Dataran Merdeka

This is the entrance. The library will be closed on Monday and public holidays.

The range of books are good. Managed to find some latest books in the market in the library collection. 
 This is one of my many favourite section. Kudos and a big thank you to DBKL for providing and maintaining such a superb library in town. 

Let's revive the reading culture in our families, our younger generations, our communities...one visit at a time...one book at a time.

Useful mini oven

Got this precious useful oven around Chinese New Year (CNY 2025) for less than 100. It's a great great deal from Lotus. 

We've got a smaller one before we upgraded to this, at least we can now make potato wedges in 2 batch, rather than 3-4 batch previously.

Prefer this conventional oven as compared to microwave oven...somehow it makes the food tastier .... haha I feel lah

Now that it is more than 6 months old...my vow is to use it to make more tasty stuff for family to at. Time to explore and try out new dishes

Red eggs for birthday

 



Red eggs symbolize birth and I always feel warmth when I see red eggs because it represent birthday. So when it comes to my children birthday, I will make red eggs to remind myself to be grateful having them in my life.

And this year, thanks to AI, it has taught me the way to use vinegar to let the red colour food dye stay on the egg shells. Previous year the red colour didn't stay well.

Hopefully next time, my children let this tradition continue and our hearts stay warm together.

my home cook lunch

Mee goreng - I like mine goreng with shrimp and sweet pea and egg..just plain but still delicious.

 Porridge - the way i like it is plain porridge with corn (for sweet tinge) with salted egg and century egg...just bliss

 Nasi goreng - again i like mine with sweet pea, shrimp and egg..the taste just blend beautifully and sumptiously.

yong tau foo


 One of my favourite food of all time..yong tau foo. I think i can eat them like twice a week :)
