Korea .... the 'Seoul' of Asia

the partially sponsored trip ... else we wouldn't sampai hati to spend so much on a trip
the trip before wishbone came to us ... 'someone' promised to allow me take wishbone once we are home from this trip =D
the 1st time we experience cold weather ... considering the all year long hot and wet weather in Malaysia & neighbouring countries.
the 1st trip we joined people of all ages from all walks of life on a trip ... i've never felt so much of care from some strangers whom we just got to know.
but most importantly, being there with dear was the best thing ever ... of course, together with a nice little suprise =D

A little pics to share ... try not to ask me where's the place and which comes 1st ... I've horrible sense of directions =p

the world cup stadium when Seoul is the organiser in 2002.

the polar bear at Everland (a very big theme park - 5th biggest in the world) .... it is catching its food thrown by the zookeeper. most probably the only chance I've in life seeing a polar bear.

The spring garden in 'Everland' ... I could stay there for hours ... but alas I can't bring them home to plant here.

my buddy at Everland ... forgot what's his name liao

ice pellets ice cream ... a nice chill in the cold weather ... love the colours and the taste =D

lioner or tigon ... whatever they call it ... basically it's a cross breed or a lion and a tiger

the variety of drinks found in one of the supermarket in Korea ... they have thousands and thousands types of drinks for health and taste.
It wasn't spring yet when we were there, however we were lucky to meet some 'early bloomers' who showed off their beauty.

A scenic view of a stream coming from the 'tian di' (sky earth) water fall.

Another spectacular view of the stream coming from 'tian di' waterfall.

Jeju island ... a flower plantation at the road side leading to Hallasan (highland). Walking in there is like walking into a Windows wall paper =D
Hallasan ... the highest peak in Jeju Island. It's a high peak and if you reaches the top, you'll see the whole Jeju Island. If you walk downwards, it will lead to the clear blue sea.
A little regret I didn't get to climb to the top due to my condition.

Another Sakura tree by the road side where we purposely ask the bus driver to stop to allow us to take pics.
A cherry tree full of tiny little cherries ... we started picking some from the ground too. Me joining the aunties =p hehe

one of those Korean palace where this is the entertainment & leisure hall, whereby the olden days rulers drink and watches performances by lady dancers.

About the food, only 2 ways of cooking ... steamboat & BBQ
err...if you ask me, Malaysia food is still the best lah =D
