previous weekend experiment

白果 fu chuk barley ....
I think I used the wrong type of 'fu chuk' as it took very long time to really melt.
Lesson : ask the shopkeeper for the type for boiling 'tong shui'

Forget to tell you that this tong shui is good for baby too especially baby skin. I used to have that when I was pregnant with Ezel. But with this second pregnancy, I taken less due to gestational diabetes. Try to avoid 白果 though as my mum says that it is not good for pregnant ladies.

You should use the 'fu chuk' that is wide like a piece of paper. Then, soak the 'fu chuk' in water for 10 minutes or until it soft. After it become soft, cut into smaller piece in length and trim those wrinkled parts away. With that, the 'fu chuk' is easier to melt but sometimes also depends on the 'fu chuk' quality. Good luck and try to reduce on sugar. I put one to two table spoons only.
