had a chat with my collegue michelle
just came back from maternity leave some time back
she had given birth to a beautiful baby boy, congrats michelle =)
this is her first child and according to her will be the last
her baby is everything to her now, is always the topic of her conversation =)
being the usual me '8' and curious
i asked her about her labour experience and this is what she has to say
' no word can describe the pain, our normal pain is almost nothing compare to pain during labour. It's a trauma and once is enough lo'
(she described the whole process ... however, not so suitable to post lo )
i didn't know what to say...trying to imagine by looking deep into her sparkling eyes.
' at least it was worthwhile, now see how happy you are' =) i blurted
' yah, now he's the center of my world ' she replied with happiness shown all over her face.
in fact michelle brought album full of her dearest baby photos, from ultrasound scan to delivery to his growth complete with the date, weight and development of baby michael =) how sweet
now it makes me think of my mum and all mums =) of course my dad and all dads too =) thank you very much
