REITs

REIT … in case you are wondering, is not the abbreviation for Rapid Evolving Information Technology.
You know me not that tech-savvy wat =p
Me only have dollar sign in my eyes =P


REITs … stands for Real Estate Investment Trusts
Another possible avenue to park your extra cash, a minimal amount of rm1000 or less is needed per investment unit.
The returns are rather steady ranging from 6% - 8%p.a besides having potential for capital gain appreciation. As merchant & investment banks handle the investment, there’s a minimal 1% commission fee charged.
Merchants & investment banks manage 3 areas of property namely – commercial (office buildings), retail (shopping complexes) and industrial (factories & warehouses)
