me love to watch 'iklan merdeka' be it on TV or in newspapers ...
they never failed to amaze me ... a little can say alot

Nestle : three cups placed in a circle. 1st cup contains white milk, 2nd cup brown coffee, 3rd cup black coffee. The wordings in small print "United in nourishing a nation in more ways than one. Happy Merdeka, Malaysia"
Maxis : showing black n white picture of Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman signing independence agreement with some british orang putih.

Johnson : a baby holding a mother's palm. wordings read : as pure as mother's love. where would we be without you? Happy Merdeka, beloved motherland
Tenaga Nasional Bhd : fireflies that make up the moon & star in our jalur gemilang flag.
wordings read : To fly high, we must work together. TNB .. powering the nation.
