'ga yao zham'
This colourful corner is my 'ga yao' stand. It's where I will look for motivation and enthusiasm.
It's where at some other times, I draw my dreams and put my mind to it.
Some time ago, this white board also remind me of the things I need to 'DO'
This is also where I refer to when I'm lost.
If you are wondering why there's so many lucky charm hanging at the side, all these lucky charms are gifts from my friends. I may not know much about feng shui but this place is where I want all the good chi to flow to =)
I'm quite positive that every one of us have our little fave 'corner' in our room. It may be your PC or maybe your desktop or it may just be your bed. But it's this special 'place' that gives us a sense of belonging and something to look forward to.

Oopss.. I did it again
Oopss... I did it again.
Despite objection from everyone else.
Close friends will know I have had my fair share of fright from cutting short hair
yet I just couldn't stop myself from doing it again.
Just plain foolish repeating the same mistake again and again, right?
However, sometimes when bad things had happened in a row,
good things will eventually come =)
you know, like the rainbow after the rain
Here I am with my new short hair, and growing to like it more and more every minute.
Not that it changed an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan... I've already accepted the fact that this ugly duckling will remain an ugly duckling..
but at least I feel more like a young ugly duckling now ... quakquakquakquak =p

Test 'Positive'
'Don't go clubbing ah'
Whom do you think most likely said the above statement to me?
(a) My dad
(b) My sis
(c) My boyfriend
(d) My close friend(s)
(e) My doctor
What about this statement 'Don't drink and drive ah'?
....
....
....
....
....
....
....
. . . .
. . . .
Doc say one ah ... don't play play ah.
Exactly word for word some more.
I also had my fair share of SHOCK!!!
Wah!!! my liver so bad that he know I go clubbing and drinking every night ah?
Wah!!! so terror just by stetoscope and thermometer, he know I drink and drive ah?
Wah!!! I got such serious amnesia that I forgot I ever did what he mentioned ah?
SHOCKING !!! Eyes open big big in disbelief
Seeing my reaction, doc open his eyes even bigger... then he laughed.
He stood up, walked over to the medicine cabinet and grab a bottle with a label
that read 'Jauhi daripada kanak kanak'.
He put it in front of me and say "Try this over weekend"
"Huh?" was my only reaction.
Doc then explained that the cough syrup contains codeine.
It is a kind of opiate and will make people 'high' and highly drowsy and addictive if overdosed.
If I were to get caught while clubbing and undergo urine test, will surely be tested positive.
And oh... when he say 'Don't drink and drive' ... he meant 'don't drink this cough mixture and drive' as it is very dangerous (expecially for people who can fall asleep anytime anywhere like me ... I add myself one lah)
I've been coughing non-stop the whole day especially in the office with air cond.
Cough till the lung like coming out. All the 'tulang rusuk' pain already.
I was thinking if I earn RM1 each time I cough, I would have earned at least RM1000 for the last 24 hours.

Excerpt below from wikipedia, sounds scary.
While the combination of codeine with paracetamol at higher-than-recommended doses can possibly cause hepatotoxicity (liver damage), combination with ibuprofen can result in kidney problems/failure and additional stomach pain and nausea, and combination with aspirin can lead to internal hemorrhaging, particularly gastrointestinal hemorrhage.

I hate being SICK
today is the 3rd day I'm down with fever, non-stop coughing and runny nose.
This morning even had a short spell of faint ... it felt like going to space and coming back in a matter of 30 seconds.
I was about to leave for work when the spell came. Really don't want to think what if I had the spell when driving to work.
Dad (who's also sick) have to carry me to the sofa.
I feel so useless.
I'm supposed to be healthy and take care of dad.. not the other way round.
I just want to get well SOON.
And I'm SERIOUSLY gonna build up my weak body.
I can't afford to be weak... i just can't be.

Goodbye, Uncle Lim
We suddenly felt a tinge of sadness. I'm sure Malaysians from all walks of lives do.
This is a man of great honour and I have very high respect for him.
Borned in the year of 1918, he leave behind a legacy at age 90.
Uncle Lim is a ambitious man with sheer determination. This can be seen from his very famous 'Genting Highland' besides venturing and exceling in many different industries.
While we grieve the lost of a great Malaysian, let's keep his spirit and determination burning.
YBhg Tan Sri Dato Seri Lim Goh Tong, may you rest in peace.
God bless you and your loved ones.

Have you seen something like this before?
I bet you will never think this is a gal's room.
Even if I tell you this is a gal's room, you'll think 'hopeless gal'
Devastating state, isn't it?
Oh, did I mentioned this is just one section of the room...and this is the tidy'est part =p
I can imagine everyone's mouth agape =O
My room used to be in a devastating state ... it still is.
However with the help of 'someone' my room look more like a room.
This challenge I've taken up needs a lot of courage and determination.
I'm to ensure that my room remain as in the next post picture for as long as possible ... which is not an easy task for me.
Nevertheless, still wish me luck =D please... *wink wink*
Do you?
I used to have my own filing system at home.
It is where I file up all my statements, bills and important documents.
However, for the last 2 to 3 months, I've been lagging in keeping track.
I got a real scolding from dad the other day for being so unorganised ...
all because I forgot to pay the utilities bills and ended up receiving reminders from the service providers.
I do take part of the blame but sometimes things slipped off our mind when we are occupied or busy.
Now, I'm trying (read TRYING VERY HARD) to be organised at least in the things I do.
I found it's really more effective, time and cost saving when we plan what we want to do properly beforehand and do it in an organised manner.
Here I'm sitting at my desk at home, soting and filing my statements diligently =p
Do you have any filing system? How do you usually organised your things around?
Please do share with me =)
so that I won't forget to pay bills again and get scolded for no reason =p

Early Raya morning, I woke up 4am ... beria ia nak RAYA
no ler... have to go back to office to do testing ah.... grrr
Travelling from home to office about 10 - 15 minutes only leh =p syiok
Lucky everything went well except for one case which need to be solved.
'sau kong' around 8am+ after a pack of fried meehon with fried chicken =)
Go to The Curve & Ikano Power Centre ...
We had the whole parking to ourselves ..besides the IKEA lorries that are loading for delivery.
We also had the whole shopping centre to ourselves =p keke...
We sat at the sofas on display, tested all the beds on display
until the guard approached us... wakaka...
Wanted to enjoy some coffee but all not yet open...
Wanted to cross to opposite building but found no way out ... all the doors are locked.
Even the guard when asked, just smile and shook his head... wah lau, if got fire, how to escape oh?
Finally when we manage to get across, we realised TESCO does not open as early as we expected.
It was a beautiful morning with dear sitting next to me at the fountain and both of us attempting some quiz in the CLEO magazine.
We were shocked to see people actually queing up to enter IKEA and TESCO about an hour before they open ... either they have nothing better to do or IKEA and TESCO really give great discount for the first few shoppers =p
Shopping at TESCO again despite had been to TESCO EXTRA the night before... I think I'm crazy over TESCO.
Bought myself 2 working blouse from comma for RM26 ... buying only great deals eh =p
Walked over to IKEA
sorry dear I spoilt our shopping trip at IKEA ... maybe I should have just tahan sakit till we finish shopping =(
I took the longest afternoon nap ever ... adding up to 6 hours of sleep.
Didn't know why I felt this tired ... and yet still feel tired after sleeping for so long.
14/10/07
Tried to make sago with gula melaka with dear... didn't come out to well. Got ourselves a bowl of starch-like sago =p
Ended up going to TESCO EXTRA again (read 3 DAYS in a ROW) to get more sago for experiments.
Walked the night market in drizzle ... ate some 'lok lok' ... bought some 'apam balik' for our dads =) yah, both of them love apam baliks =)
15/10/07
Today was supposed to be a 'spring clean' day.
Helping my dad clean his room in the morning.. cleaned my room in the afternoon with the help of efficient dear. Now my desk looks as good as new =)
But I've yet to complete cleaning my room... why? because the mess is just too big to be cleaned in a day..really.
ps. I just drank a tablespoon of DOME and now I'm burning and I can hear thump in my head. My alcohol intolerance level is this low??

Balloonary
It was after work on Monday... with all the monday blues and .. I'm tempted to go home but instead I force myself to attend 'Balloonary'.
I'm very glad I went because it was just too good to be missed. We were so immensed that we refused to go home even after way past 9pm.
I took home with me a pack of colourful balloons, a pump, a simple guide and most precious of all.. the skills for a lifetime plus happiness to myself and people around me as bonus =)
Enough of talking, let the picture do the saying =p

Balloonary
There are just so many many things we can make out of balloons.
No wonder people can get rich playing around with balloons all day long =p
I made one of the figure among these pics, can you figure out which? =p hehe
Think...think ...think...
Think...think ...think...
I know it may be hard but please keep trying...
Somethings may look difficult ... but they only looked difficult... you may not realised how easy it is =)
Still looking???
Still looking ah???
Still looking kah??
Yah, it's embarassing putting this picture here with the rest =p
but what's the worry? there are still many balloons for me to try.. hehe
In case you really can't figure out what's that thing?
The purple is suppose to be a heart shape (I know it's not like a love shape...but please hold your laughter...kaka.... )
The orange supposed to be 2 birds / parrots kissing.
This ballon was taken today after gas lepas thus it explain why it's a bit kemek already =p
If you want to learn some 'tips' on how to 'tham' kiddies or your girlfriend... just buy me a whole month supply of balloons =p keke....

Did you see?
Did you see the girl turning
clockwise? or anti-clockwise?
Most of the time I see her turning clockwise but sometimes I see her turning anti-clockwise.
I can see her anti-clockwise when I force myself to =p
I'm more of a right brainer, I think..
It's strange how our brain look at things ho =)
If you see the girl turning clockwise, you are a right brainer.
If you see the girl turning anti-clockwise, you are a left brainer.
The description below may best describe you =)

clockwise? or anti-clockwise?
Most of the time I see her turning clockwise but sometimes I see her turning anti-clockwise.
I can see her anti-clockwise when I force myself to =p
I'm more of a right brainer, I think..
It's strange how our brain look at things ho =)
If you see the girl turning clockwise, you are a right brainer.
If you see the girl turning anti-clockwise, you are a left brainer.
The description below may best describe you =)

please help me see
What a girl who cannot sleep does?
What a girl who cannot sleep does?
" Who cares, she'll sleep anyway and anywhere for that matter" =p
She wakes up … no, she hasn’t even slept yet. She just get away from the bed.
She do herself a full facial … something she had never done for months =p
While listening to her favourite songs in the dimly tea light candle lit room.
She knows nothing compensate a beauty sleep but she still tries.
She then read her 1 year back Reader Digest which she only had time to read now.
She looked through some items for presentation to her customer tomorrow … at the same time listing ‘things to do’ tomorrow in and out of office.
She looked through some items for presentation to her customer tomorrow … at the same time listing ‘things to do’ tomorrow in and out of office.
She seems to be slowly enjoying her life and appreciating small little things in life =)
May be she missed the yoga part … but then again … there’s still tomorrow for yoga.
Now it’s time for bed after she updates her blog.
Good night, sleep tight, sweet dreams =)
She shall be snoring loudly in no time =p

domestic helper
I personally is grateful to them for they help to take care of my mum when we are not around.
I’ve been through various stages of my life with them.
Each of them I can still remember clearly.
Some whom I’m very close with,
some whom offer me a shoulder to cry on,
some always make me very ‘kek sim’,
some is ‘more like boss’ than me,
some spend more time being beautiful than on household chores
Evangeline, Elizabeth, Vilma, Ani, Luluk, Yati ….
A million thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks for being part of my life .. for growing up with me. Thanks for taking care of my loved ones.
I believe if mummy is around, she would be very grateful to all of you too.
I remember my parents always say “They are here far far away from their family to earn a living, why make it difficult for others when we can live like a family?”
May God Bless you all…

Noah's ARK
Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to watch 'Evan Almighty'.
I watched the movie without knowing about Noah's Ark at all. That's just how 'katak bawah tempurung' I was.
I didn't really know why GOD (in the movie) asked Evan Baxter to build a big SAMPAN =p
Now I know the Noah's ARK story http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah's_Ark
and I know why the story goes the way it went =p
However, there's one very clear message I've got from this movie
How does one change the world?
